FAMILY BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
As parents it can often be difficult to find activities that the entire family can enjoy together.
Looking for that activity, you land on Martial Arts. It’s cool. Your child can learn discipline, get fit, have fun and learn self- defense. It’s also a sport that you both can at least talk about, as means to have something in common.
You may even have gone so far as to enroll the entire family in the academy to strengthen the family bond. What could be better. You got it all figured out. You’re in the adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class; your spouse is in the self-defense class and the kids are in the Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. AWESOME, everyone in the family is enjoying their training, right?
Well we have the answer! A Family Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class. Yes, everyone in the family, on the mat training together all at the same time. “Train as a Family, Fight as a Team.”
In this class the parent and child share the same training experiences. These experiences strengthen the familiar bond. Time spent together doing the same activity, affords the family to build quality, bonding time. What better way for a parent to bond with their child, by being involved in an activity that their child is in sharing goals, accomplishments, and successes. Parents can now be the example for their children.
We all know that students are happy when they feel a sense of accomplishment and share these experiences with another person. Whys shouldn’t this person be their parents? Our sport, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu not only sharpens the mind and body by providing a fun and healthy outlet, but it also builds bonds between people.
