Our Personal Defense System is a true Mixed Martial Art, pulling technical components from Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, and other Stand Up striking arts. Referred to as “Mixed Martial Arts for the Street”, the PDS Program incorporates seven areas of focus including upper body strikes, defense to upper body strikes, lower body strikes, defense to lower body strikes, self-defense grappling, street applications and weapons training.Personal Defense System ( PDS) is designed to give students a challenging workout including cardiovascular and strength building techniques while utilizing the skills and techniques used by mixed martial artists.
Most Martial Arts systems teach and train in a traditional way that has been carried on throughout the centuries. A lot of the Hollywood-style punches and kicks will never work in a real-life situation. This is great if a student wants to carry on the art as a tradition or wants to compete in a tournament or controlled environment, however it becomes useless in a real life situation. PDS trains students for all areas of a real confrontation, making it the most functional martial arts system available!

Personal Defense System (PDS) VS. Other Defense Martial Arts
It is much easier to teach a person how to hurt another person. The goal of PDS is to teach a person how to not hurt somebody. IThe goal of Personal Defense Systems is to control the situation through conflict resolution.
It is human nature to retaliate with “Deadly Force” when attacked. PDS will show you how to defuse different situations without using that force. Initial follow-up strikes are generated through Gross Motor skills, where PDS builds on those skills by fine tuning them in order to better control the situation. Through training, timing and sensitivity, a person can have power over their opponent in a purposeful, minimally aggressive manner.
